We are scheduled for delivery hampers on Dec 19–

I have signed up for aprox. 20 volunteers to deliver hampers SO 10 volunteers are needed for the 10 am shift AND 10 volunteers are needed for the 11 am shift Breakfast will be starting at 9 am -11 am. at the clubhouse. (so people starting a 10 am shift can come for breakfast at 9 am and the people starting the 11 am shift can come anytime ).

Thanks a bunch COREEN

Operation friendship with the Kinsmen club of Edmonton was a huge success. We helped them feed 221 people which is a record I am told. The edmonton kinsmen are always so much fun to work with and we had such a great time serving our community.

I don’t know, but we sure did.. We were roaring in the 20’s and man were we having fun. FLC 2009 was such a wonderful time for fellowship. The Fort saskatchewan kinettes put on a great event, thanks ladies!  Of course we were the best dressed because it’s coming from me.. he he  Donna designed the costumes and we helped put them together. Anne sewed her brains out, and we all did what we could.

I had a feeling that tonight was going to be a great night night and IT WAS!! This is why you should come to conferences, because we get to have FUN!

I added a upcoming events section on the right with the help of Angela Jenkins. She added all the entries into our calendar so you can all be reminded of whats next. The website will have the full calendar for you to navigate .

Hello Fellow Kin – The United Way has a campaign on at the moment (being its the “back to school” season) called “Tools for School” It’s asking for donations of cash or school supplies to help support under privileged kids (and there are lots of them) in our community that are not fortunate enough to be supplied with the tools needed for their school year. I’m proposing that we show community spirit and help support this cause by asking that each member attending tomorrow night’s meeting bring at least one school supply with them (ie pencils, notebooks, crayons etc) and I will arrange to have these supplies dropped off on our club’s behalf. Since there is no charge for tomorrow’s meal – your “attendance fee” could be a school supply item. Let’s show that “We Are All Kin” If you are bringing guest – please by all means, let her know too and if your member buddy does not have email, please give her a call and let her know too!! (sorry for the short notice – the idea just popped into my head last night!)

Yours in Kin LeAnne Christiansen Service Director
